The Shark Hair Dryer is a product from SharkNinja that took its first foray into the hair care industry by introducing the HyperAir which, apparently by its design, was meant to compete directly with Dyson’s hair dryers. Shark Hair Dryer is a device that can dry your hair quickly and easily. A Shark Hair Dryer is a multi-functional device that helps you to get rid of your hair in a short time.
How to Choose The Best Shark Hair Dryer?
There are many different types of hairdryers on the market. They are categorized based on their size, power, and features.
The most common ones are the electric ones and they have a cord so that you can plug it into an outlet. However, there are other types of hair dryers like handheld ones which do not have cords but instead use batteries. These kinds of hair dryers are called battery-powered hair dryers because they use batteries to run them.

There is one more type of hairdryer that is not as popular as the others but it works just as well – the ionic style which uses ionic technology to deliver heat from a flat plate on top of your head or wherever else your hair is hanging down. This type of hairdryer has been around for many years now and it has become very popular
The best hairdryer for men is a big one with multiple attachments. The best hairdryer for women is a small one with only a few attachments.
I have been using the Shark Hair Dryer for over a year now and I must say that it is one of the best dryers in my opinion. It has become my go to hair dryer because it works really well and is affordable.

Customer Ratings & Reviews
Great Blowout with a couple points to note…
I am coming directly from a $35 common hair dryer that was solid. When my kid broke it, I was super bummed, but I knew it was an opportunity. And soon, I overwhelmed by all the options available.
I decided I invest a lot of time and money into my hair so I would not be running out and buying another store shelf dryer. I also could not justify the $450 Dyson although I would LOVE to have one.
In my research, I stumbled upon the Shark HyperAIR. It’s fairly new so finding reviews that weren’t sponsored was a little difficult.
I ordered online and picked it up the next morning. I showered. I waited 5 minutes. Then I started my stop watch. I have medium-long hair but it’s not super thick, and I was 80% dry in 2 minutes. I spent the next 4 using the styling brush attachment.
At 6min and 30sec, I was completely dried AND styled for the day which is very impressive. I didn’t have to use a straightner to get that sleek look. This little dryer packs a strong punch.
My hair looks and feels healthy and fabulous. Products used are hair oil and leave in conditioner.
The negatives: It’s roughly the same weight as my old hair dryer so it wins no points for being light weight. The other issue is how HOT the barrel gets, especially when attachments are on. I will have to use the cool shot VERY often to keep this tool in check.
You can change the heat and fan settings but even on low heat, it’s HOT. The heat and fan will automatically adjust for the attachment but you can also change it. The cool shot will be vital to continued use. I am not sure how the box can clearly boast “No Heat Damage!” when the air is that hot.
All that in mind, I would do 5 stars because of the time saved and ease of use. It’s a great tool and I’m glad I pulled the trigger on the Shark HyperAIR
Supermodel hair!
I have been impressed with Shark products, so when I got the opportunity to test this hairdryer, I jumped at it, even though I haven’t blow dried my hair since the spring. In cooler months I like to blow dry my hair, and we aren’t there yet in my neck of the woods, but dang, my hair is nice since I started using this Shark dryer.
Whenever I walk by a mirror I have to do a double take because my hair actually looks nice for a change. This Shark HyperAir blow dryer is very similar to my Dyson Supersonic, so I’m in an interesting position to compare the two. Form-wise, the Shark is almost the same size and shape as the Dyson. I like the case material of the Shark better, it feels better in my hand. Also my Dyson is about four years old, and the exterior feels sort of sticky, which shouldn’t be happening, but I haven’t really used it in a while, so who knows.
My hair is type 1A, straight as a stick, and coarse, Japanese hair, and it’s medium length and density, which is to the middle of my back. My objective when drying my hair is to have sleek hair, it can get sort of frizzy if I don’t dry it. I have been using a microfiber hair wrap shortly after I get out of the shower to help sop up the wetness from washing, and after about a half hour of wearing that, my hair is ready for blow drying. It’s still plenty wet, just not dripping wet.
This Shark hair dryer has three levels of fan speed and three levels of heat, which are easily adjustable on the back of the unit. I have been using the dryer without attachments at first to get my hair about 80% dry. After that I use the included styling brush attachment, and use that like you would a blow styling brush. To finish off the look I use the 2 in 1 concentrator, to get certain parts of my hair going in the right direction.
All said and done, my hair is dry and styled in about five minutes, which is way better than with a regular hair dryer, but about the same as the Dyson. There is a curly hair attachment that didn’t come with my unit, which is called a curl-defining diffuser, and another attachment called an IQ Air Wave, which I didn’t get either but looks pretty neat by making waves. I’m not sure if my hair would hold the waves anyway. One thing I noticed with the attachments, they aren’t super hot after using the dryer, I can take them off without almost burning my hand, which is nice.
This dryer also has a cool shot button, which I love. I use that at the end to cool off my hair and head from all of the heat. The cord length is plenty long for this dryer, and the plug is easy to plug into the wall socket and to remove it, unlike the Dyson.
Also included was a small brush with hook, I’m not 100% sure how to use it, but I think it would get the hair that’s caught in the brush attachment and get the dust off of the back of the dryer, it’s a nice touch. The hair dryer is an average weight for its size, I wouldn’t say it feels heavy or light, but just right. For the MSRP of about $230, I think this is a really nice and upgraded hair dryer. It would make a great gift also!
Better than Best at a Decent Price
I love this dryer. It’s very expensive, and I haven’t had it for very long, I’m reluctant to go completely gaga over it in this review—not sure if it’s the best value ever. It’s got some wonderful settings for heat and power, and I think it’s pretty kind to my hair, which was the whole point for me for spending so much on a dryer. I dry my hair often, and I want to avoid damage. The cord is substantial—rare to see such a heavy cord on this type of appliance—it’s like a vacuum cleaner cord. Which makes sense. Oh lord. All I can really say is that I don’t regret purchasing this dryer, because I felt that I could afford it. I don’t expect to have to buy another hair dryer for many years, maybe forever. (My last hair dryer was a much much cheaper Conair, and I had it for over nine years.)
Better than Dyson
I never expected to like these over my Dyson which costed me more than twice but i did So it’ takes me even less time to do my hair and it takes care of my frizz much more than dyson also all the attachments give give very very good results when styling my hair . They look very nice and quality is great now I’m using it and my Dyson is in the cabinet .
